Centers typical offer a variety of services—primary care, immunizations, sick and injury care and health education—that enable children and adolescents to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

    > Asthma and other chronic illness diagnosis and management
    > Acute illness and injury treatment
    > Immunizations and vaccinations

    > Health education, counseling and wellness promotion
    > Fitness and nutrition education and counseling
    > Referrals for healthcare services not provided at the clinics, including mental health, vision and dental services, and other medical services

Barb Wiley Kroner is retiring!

Barb Wiley Kroner is retiring after 19 years of service including being the Cincinnati Health Department Supervisor of Nursing for Cincinnati Public Schools nurses and several years as the school nurse at Academy of World Languages.

The Cincinnati Health Department leadership and staff will miss her. They collaborated to star in a video featuring nurses and school based health center staff in each site. Here is a quick way to see the staff from all the Cincinnati Health Department school nurse and school–based health center sites. They are a terrific group of dedicated professionals.
